OVS Launches Largest Indian Store in Mumbai
On 23 October 2026 OVS, the Italian leading fashion retailer, inaugurated a 12,400 sq ft flagship‑style outlet at R City Mall, Ghatkopar, Mumbai (address: Lal Bahadur Shastri Marg, Amrut Nagar, Ghatkopar West, Mumbai 400086). The store presents an expanded portfolio that includes OVS, PIOMBO, Les Copains, B.Angel, OVS Kids and the newly introduced MYA curve collection, covering womenswear, menswear and kidswear.
The opening follows OVS’s entry into India in 2025 with its first store at Pacific Mall, New Delhi, and a second Mumbai store at Sky City Mall, Borivali, launched in March 2026. Managing Director Sundeep Chugh said the new store reflects OVS’s objective to build a long‑term presence and to make contemporary Italian style accessible to Indian consumers.
OVS India has outlined an expansion roadmap that targets four additional stores by the end of 2027, bringing the total Indian network to seven outlets. The planned locations span Delhi NCR, the Mumbai metropolitan area (including Thane, Navi Mumbai and Vashi), Pune, Surat, Bengaluru, Chennai, Hyderabad and Chandigarh, with a focus on premium mall destinations in Tier‑1 cities and selected Tier‑2 markets.
Globally, OVS S.p.A. operates more than 2,600 stores across Italy and international markets under the OVS and Upim banners. The group, listed on Euronext Milan since 2015, reported EUR 1.746 billion in sales and an EBITDA exceeding EUR 218 million for the fiscal year 2025.
