Overview
On Saturday, 31 October 2026, Panasonic Life Solutions India and ANACITY – the enterprise‑technology platform of the Anarock Group – signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) in Bengaluru, Karnataka, to create integrated smart‑home solutions for gated communities and condominiums across India.
Collaboration Details
The agreement will link Panasonic’s portfolio of Internet‑of‑Things (IoT) security and access hardware with ANACITY’s mobile‑first community‑management platform. The combined offering aims to streamline home access, security, visitor management and overall resident convenience while providing community‑management teams with more efficient operational tools.
Proof‑of‑Concept Phase
Both parties will jointly develop a proof‑of‑concept (PoC) to assess technical performance and the value delivered to customers. Successful validation of the PoC will inform decisions on scaling the solution throughout India and potentially extending it to other international markets.

Yoshiyuki Kato, CEO & Managing Director of Panasonic Life Solutions India, said Indian residential communities are increasingly seeking connected solutions that blend convenience, reliability and practical value, and that the MoU will enable Panasonic to tailor its IoT capabilities to the needs of gated communities and condominiums.
Masaaki Isoda, CTO & Managing Executive Officer of Panasonic Electric Works Corporation, highlighted that the joint services are intended to improve safety, well‑being and sustainable living, and could serve as a technology foundation for future expansion beyond India.
Shajai Jacob, Managing Director & CEO of ANACITY, emphasized that seamless integration of smart hardware with intelligent community platforms will allow residents to move between home and community experiences without dealing with disconnected systems, delivering tangible digital value to both developers and residents.
