Panorama Studios International Limited has made a disclosure under Regulation 30 of SEBI LODR Regulations regarding a new collaborative project. The company, through its principals Kumar Mangat Pathak (Chairman) and Abhishek Pathak (Managing Director), is joining forces with actor Unni Mukundan and his production banner Unni Mukundan Films (UMF) for a new Malayalam film project.
This collaboration represents the first partnership between two National Award-winning production houses: Panorama Studios and Unni Mukundan Films. Unni Mukundan will headline the film while also serving as Writer and Director, marking his 50th film project and his directorial debut.
The project is described as having a "high-octane narrative" with "pan-Indian aspirations." Panorama Studios has an established track record with films including Omkara, Special 26, Pyaar Ka Punchnama, Raid, Shaitaan, and the Drishyam franchise, having earned over 50 prestigious awards. Unni Mukundan gained recognition through the pan-Indian blockbuster Marco and his production house UMF previously produced the National Award-winning Meppadiyan.
Management commentary included statements from both Kumar Mangat Pathak, who expressed delight in the collaboration and noted the special significance of Unni Mukundan taking on writing and directing roles for his 50th film, and Abhishek Pathak, who highlighted Unni Mukundan's creative conviction and risk-taking approach from Meppadiyan to Marco.
