Parul University, based in Vadodara, Gujarat, announced on November 6, 2026 that it has advanced to the 791‑800 band in the QS World University Rankings: Asia 2027, up from the 1001‑1100 band in the 2026 edition.

Rankings Details

The university also secured the 239th position in the QS World University Rankings: Southern Asia 2027, its first appearance in the sub‑regional table. The Asia ranking evaluates institutions across the continent using eleven indicators, including academic reputation, employer reputation, research performance, faculty‑student ratio and international research networks. The Southern Asia sub‑regional table applies the same framework to compare universities within the narrower region.

Institutional Profile

Parul University offers undergraduate, postgraduate and doctoral programmes across a wide range of disciplines. Its research cells operate alongside regular classroom teaching, linking theory with practice. The university also emphasizes entrepreneurship, interdisciplinary collaboration and career‑development programmes for both students and faculty.

Management Comment

Dr Geetika Madan Patel, Vice President of Parul University, stated that the progress reflected the institution’s ability to keep learning, evolving and creating opportunities for an increasingly interconnected world, and that the QS Asia 2027 ranking marks an encouraging milestone for the university community. She added that the recognition reinforces the responsibility to provide an academic environment that encourages critical thinking, research, innovation and exposure beyond geographical boundaries.

Outlook

The university attributes the ranking improvement to the combined effort of its faculty, researchers, students and staff, and says it will continue strengthening its academic and research profile and widening its international engagement.
