Peria Karamalai Tea & Produce Co Ltd discloses acquisition of 4.82 crore equity shares in Maharaja Shree Umaid Mills Ltd representing 14.8958% stake pursuant to NCLT-approved amalgamation scheme.
The acquisition is executed via share swap ratio of 515 MSUM shares (Rs 10) for each Placid Ltd share (Rs 100) held, effective 25th April 2026.
MSUM reported turnover of Rs 599.88 crore in FY2024-25 across textile, renewable energy and financing businesses, with operations entirely in India.
The filing is made under SEBI LODR Regulation 30 compliance requirements following dissolution of Placid Ltd and issuance of new shares.
