Petronet LNG Limited has made a regulatory disclosure pursuant to Regulation 30 of SEBI (Listing Obligations and Disclosure Requirements) Regulations, 2015.
The Board of Directors, in their meeting held on 17th September 2026, approved the proposal for incorporation of a 50:50 Joint Venture Company with Gruner Renewable Energy Private Limited. The JV will be incorporated as a Private Limited Company.
The primary purpose of the joint venture is to establish 10 Compressed Biogas (CBG) plants across India, with each plant having a capacity of 18 metric tons per day (18MT/day).
The estimated capital outlay for this project is ₹1,200 crore.
The Board Meeting commenced at 2:30 PM and concluded at 4:20 PM on 17th September 2026.
The company has stated that further details regarding the joint venture will be intimated to the stock exchanges upon formal incorporation of the proposed joint venture company.
