Announcement

Philips Evnia announced on 2 July 2026 in Singapore the launch of its new M4 gaming monitor lineup, marketed as the world’s first triple‑mode fast IPS gaming monitor. The lineup comprises two models, the Philips Evnia 27M4N3500PT and 27M4N5500PT, and will be released initially in the APAC region.

Triple‑Mode Technology

The monitors offer three selectable resolution‑refresh presets. In QHD (2560 × 1440) mode the panel operates at an over‑clocked 275 Hz with HDR enabled for high‑detail AAA gaming. In Full HD (1920 × 1080) mode it runs at 360 Hz, balancing picture fidelity with competitive speed. In HD (1280 × 720) mode the refresh rate is over‑clocked to 540 Hz, delivering ultra‑low latency for esports. Users can switch modes instantly via the on‑screen menu.

Design and Ergonomics

Both models feature a Fast IPS panel with anti‑glare coating (Haze 25 %) and a peak brightness of 350 nits. The monitors incorporate Low Blue Light and Flicker‑Free technologies to reduce eye fatigue during marathon gaming sessions. The 27M4N5500PT is equipped with the SmartErgoBase stand, providing height, tilt, swivel adjustments and a 90‑degree vertical pivot, suitable for multi‑screen workstation setups. The stand’s minimalist geometric design enhances the aesthetic appeal.

Connectivity and AI Features

Connectivity includes HDMI 2.1 and DisplayPort 1.4 ports. AI‑enhanced gaming functionalities comprise Stark Shadow Boost, Smart Crosshair, Smart Sniper and Smart MBR Sync, aimed at improving in‑game visibility and performance.

Availability

The triple‑mode monitors are slated for official release in the APAC region following the press announcement. The release is distributed through a PRNewswire arrangement, with PTI noting no editorial responsibility.
