Phyzio Hub Launches Home‑Based Physiotherapy Platform
On Tuesday, 27 October 2026, Phyzio Hub announced the launch of a mobile application that enables patients in Rajkot, Gujarat, to receive professional physiotherapy services at their doorstep. The initiative is founded by Dr. Palak Shah, PT, a recognised physiotherapist, who emphasises that treatment should not add stress to patients already dealing with pain, fatigue, or limited mobility.
The app allows users to browse profiles of registered physiotherapists, select a suitable practitioner, and schedule appointments at their convenience. Once an appointment is confirmed, the chosen physiotherapist travels to the patient’s home, eliminating the need for the patient to travel to a clinic. According to the release, a therapist can be located and dispatched within a two‑minute window after a request is made.
Phyzio Hub targets individuals for whom clinic visits are challenging, including the elderly, post‑surgery patients, and those recovering from injuries or suffering from back, neck, or knee problems. By delivering care in the familiar environment of the patient’s home, the service aims to make physiotherapy more accessible, comfortable, and patient‑friendly.
The platform also addresses employment challenges faced by young physiotherapists. Dr. Shah noted that after posting a request for home‑based physiotherapy in a professional network, she received five to seven responses from therapists eager for work, highlighting a significant gap between demand for home services and the supply of therapists willing to provide them. Phyzio Hub therefore serves as a two‑sided marketplace, connecting patients needing home‑based physiotherapy with physiotherapists seeking earning opportunities.
The launch is positioned as more than a simple online booking tool; it leverages technology to bridge the gap between patients and therapists, tailoring treatment to individual needs while creating a sustainable income channel for physiotherapists. The service is currently operational only in Rajkot, with plans to expand based on demand.
