Phyzio Hub Launches Home Physiotherapy Service

Phyzio Hub, a startup founded by Dr. Palak Shah, PT, announced on 27 October 2026 the launch of a mobile‑app platform that brings professional physiotherapy directly to patients’ residences in Rajkot, Gujarat. The press release explains that many patients experience difficulty travelling to clinics because of pain, limited mobility, or post‑surgical recovery, and that the new service is intended to remove this burden.

Through the app, users can browse profiles of registered physiotherapists, select a therapist, and book an appointment at a convenient time. Once booked, the therapist travels to the patient’s home, delivering treatment without the need for the patient to leave the house. The release notes that appointments can be fulfilled within minutes of booking, citing an example where a physiotherapist was located within two minutes.

The initiative also addresses the employment challenge faced by young physiotherapists. Dr. Shah observed a large gap between patients needing home‑based care and therapists willing to provide it; she herself posted a request for home physiotherapy and received five to seven calls from therapists eager to take the case. Phyzio Hub therefore serves as a two‑sided marketplace, matching patients—particularly the elderly, post‑surgery patients, and those with back, neck, or knee problems—with therapists seeking work, thereby creating earning opportunities for the latter.

The service is currently operational only in Rajkot, with plans to expand as demand grows. The founder emphasized that “any treatment procedure should not increase the stress of the patient” and that technology should enable physiotherapy to be delivered at the patient’s doorstep.
