PMJ Jewels, a jewellery brand founded in 1964 and celebrated for 62 years of Indian gold, diamond and traditional South Indian designs, inaugurated its first United States showroom on 20 June 2026 at 13215 Main Street, Suite #310, Frisco, Texas 75035, marking its entry into the Dallas‑Fort Worth metroplex.
Ceremony Details
The ribbon‑cutting was performed by former Telangana Minister Sri Errabelli Dayakar Rao and Sri Satish Reddy, President‑Elect of the American Telugu Association. The event also featured a recorded message from Indian cinema superstar Mahesh Babu, who urged the diaspora to stay connected to Indian traditions through the new store.
Company Leadership Remarks
Chairman Kushal Kankaria stated that the launch represents “a moment of immense pride” and underscores the brand’s legacy of trust and craftsmanship. Managing Director Dinesh Kankaria invited the Telugu community in the United States to visit the store and experience the heritage pieces.
Operational Highlights
The two‑day opening (20‑21 June) showcased live jewellery displays by models in traditional attire, offered exclusive launch promotions, and provided interactive sessions for guests to examine the brand’s craftsmanship up close. Director of US Operations, Ms. Dishu, highlighted the inclusion of bridal collections, half‑saree, dhoti function and everyday traditional pieces.
