PNB MetLife India Insurance Company Limited announced the launch of the PNB MetLife Enhanced Value Index Fund (SFIN: ULIF04301/07/26ENHANVALUE117), a new market‑linked unit‑linked insurance plan (ULIP) designed to combine equity market participation with life‑insurance protection for Indian customers seeking long‑term wealth creation.

Offering Period and Pricing

The fund will be offered during a new‑fund launch window from 1 July to 13 July 2026. Proposals received within this period will be allocated at an initial net asset value (NAV) of Rs 10 per unit; proposals received after 13 July will be priced at the prevailing NAV on the day of issuance. The fund can be purchased through the PNB MetLife website and the Policybazaar platform.

Investment Strategy

The Enhanced Value Index Fund follows a passive, rule‑based investment approach that seeks to replicate the customised BSE 500 Enhanced Value 50 Index. The index selects 50 companies based on valuation metrics such as book‑to‑price, earnings‑to‑price and sales‑to‑price, focusing on firms with strong fundamentals that trade at relatively attractive valuations. The portfolio provides diversified exposure across sectors including financials, energy, commodities and consumer segments.

The customised index is created and maintained by BSE Index Services Pvt. Ltd. for PNB MetLife in accordance with IRDAI investment norms. The investment risk in the portfolio is borne by the policyholder.
