Policybazaar FY26 Claims and Service Ecosystem Overview

Policybazaar highlighted that in FY26 it supported more than 2.45 lakh health insurance claims, achieving a customer‑satisfaction (CSAT) score above 90 percent. The platform also assisted 1.3 lakh motor insurance claims, facilitating settlements worth approximately ₹250 crore. Since its inception, the life‑insurance claims programme has settled a cumulative ₹2,069 crore for policyholders. In the fourth quarter of FY26, the company’s renewal annualised run‑rate (ARR) reached ₹1,126 crore, reflecting a 63 percent year‑on‑year increase.

The broader PB Fintech group has invested more than ₹3,000 crore in awareness‑building activities to educate millions of Indians about insurance needs. It has also expanded its service portfolio with three key offerings: PB Health, which operates on a fixed‑annual‑fee model that rewards hospitals for keeping members healthy; PB Care+, a coordinated claims‑handling solution that streamlines documentation, approvals and discharge processes across hospitals, insurers and TPAs; and PB Wheels, a motor‑ownership service that now provides on‑road breakdown assistance across Delhi‑NCR to all car owners, not only Policybazaar customers.

On the claims‑infrastructure front, Policybazaar runs several specialised initiatives. The Claim Samadhan Diwas programme has settled over 400 health‑care claims on the spot, resolving more than ₹6.2 crore of claims since its launch. For life insurance, the Dedicated Claims Assistance Programme (D‑CAP) assigns a specialist to guide families through every stage of the claim process, irrespective of the original point of sale. In motor insurance, the Claim Kavach and Assured Delivery Programme operate through a network of over 200 garages in 185 cities, accelerating repair work and cutting turnaround times by roughly 30 percent.

Sarbvir Singh, Joint Group CEO of PB Fintech, emphasized that the company’s responsibility begins at the point of sale and is most critical at the point of need, stating, “Every claim is a family navigating uncertainty, and our job is to make sure they are not navigating it alone.” The press release underscores Policybazaar’s strategy of building a trust‑centric ecosystem that goes beyond distribution to ensure customers receive seamless support throughout the insurance lifecycle.
