Polymatech Electronics Limited announced that the Ministry of Commerce and Industry, Department of Commerce, Government of India, has officially notified a Special Economic Zone (SEZ) dedicated to semiconductor and electronic components manufacturing at Mandir Hasaud, Nava Raipur, Atal Nagar, Chhattisgarh. The notification was issued as S.O. 3675(E) and published in the Gazette of India.
SEZ Details
The notified SEZ covers 10.13 hectares of land, specifically Plot Nos. 17/A, 17/B and 16/1A. This land allocation represents a concrete step toward establishing a manufacturing hub for advanced electronics and semiconductors in central India.
Regulatory Framework
The SEZ received an earlier Letter of Approval on 9 June 2026. With the current notification, the SEZ is deemed an Inland Container Depot effective 6 July 2026 under the Customs Act, 1962, providing a regulatory and logistics framework for customs‑related processes, movement of goods, and export‑oriented operations.
