Ministry of Power, through Order No. 25-12/10/2019-PG dated November 3, 2026, has appointed Shri Anupam Kumar, Joint Secretary at the Ministry of New and Renewable Energy (MNRE), as Government Nominee Director on POWERGRID's Board.
The appointment is effective immediately and will remain valid until Shri Kumar's date of superannuation, until any other appointment is made, or until further orders, whichever occurs earliest.
Cessation of Director
Vide the same order, Shri Abhay Bakre, Mission Director of the National Green Hydrogen Mission at MNRE, has ceased to be Government Nominee Director on POWERGRID's Board effective November 3, 2026.
Regulatory Compliance and Next Steps
The company is taking necessary action to complete statutory formalities regarding the appointment of Shri Anupam Kumar.
The requisite details in terms of Regulation 30 of the SEBI (Listing Obligations and Disclosure Requirements) Regulations, 2015 (as amended) read with the SEBI Master Circular dated January 30, 2026, will be informed in due course.
