Project Commissioning Details
The transmission system project "Transmission system for evacuation of power from REZ in Rajasthan (20 GW) under phase-III Part-C1" has been completely commissioned with effect from September 22, 2026.
Notification for Commercial Operation (DOCO) was received via email on October 11, 2026, with the DOCO dated October 7, 2026.
Project Execution Entity
The project was entrusted to POWERGRID Ramgarh II Transmission Limited, which was a wholly owned subsidiary of Power Grid Corporation of India Ltd. at the time of project assignment.
Corporate Restructuring
POWERGRID Ramgarh II Transmission Limited was amalgamated with POWERGRID Vataman Transmission Limited with effect from March 1, 2026, as per order dated January 27, 2026 of the Ministry of Corporate Affairs (MCA).
