PPS Motors, a leading dealer within the Marks Group automobile retail conglomerate, announced on 15 July 2026 the inauguration of a new Mahindra showroom in the Camp area of Pune, Maharashtra. The event was attended by Mahindra & Mahindra senior officials Aman Malik (National Sales Head), Gaurav Beohar (Zonal Sales Head – West), Prabhakar Jakkan (Regional Sales Manager), and Pakshal Shah (Chief of Staff, PPS Group), alongside Dealer Principal Rajiv Sanghvi.
Facility Details
The newly opened showroom occupies 3,600 sq ft of retail space on East Street, Camp, and is designed to provide a premium, technology‑enabled customer experience. It can simultaneously display up to five Mahindra vehicles, covering the full Mahindra passenger‑vehicle portfolio, including both internal‑combustion‑engine (ICE) models and electric vehicles (EVs). The design incorporates a modern colour palette, dramatic lighting, intuitive technology, and showcases Mahindra’s proprietary innovations such as the INGLO Electric Origin architecture and the MAIA automotive AI platform.
Sales Performance and Dealer Footprint
PPS Motors highlighted that it sold approximately 41,500 Mahindra vehicles in FY 2026, confirming its position as Mahindra’s largest sales and after‑sales partner in India. The Pune region now hosts eight Mahindra touchpoints operated by PPS Motors—seven showrooms and one workshop—bringing the total number of Mahindra facilities under the Marks Group to 149 across six states (Maharashtra, Andhra Pradesh, Telangana, Kerala, Karnataka, and Tamil Nadu). Over the past two years, PPS Motors has sold more than 6,200 Mahindra vehicles in the Pune market.
Regional Market Context
Industry data shows that Pune’s passenger‑vehicle registrations rose to 74,814 units in 2025 from 69,447 units in 2024, indicating sustained demand. In the electric‑vehicle segment, Maharashtra remained the largest Indian market for electric passenger‑vehicle (e‑PV) retail sales in FY 2026, recording 34,139 units—a 100 % year‑on‑year increase from 17,092 units sold in FY 2025, according to the Vahan portal.
