Recognition

Pramerica Life Insurance has been recognised by Great Place To Work® as one of the Top 50 India’s Best Workplaces™ for Women in 2026, building on its earlier placement in the Top 100 list for 2025. Great Place To Work, a global authority on workplace culture, bases its rankings on confidential employee feedback collected through the Trust Index™ Survey, making the accolade a direct reflection of women employees’ lived experiences. The insurer has now achieved Great Place To Work® certification for four consecutive years, with its Trust Index score improving progressively each year. In addition to the Top 50 Women’s ranking, the company advanced to the Top 25 in India’s Best Workplaces™ in BFSI 2026, secured the 72nd position among India’s Best Companies To Work For 2026, and was recognised among India’s Best Workplaces™ in Life Insurance 2026.

Workforce Representation

Women’s representation in Pramerica Life’s overall workforce rose from 21 % in 2022 to 30 % in 2026. At the senior‑leadership level (Vice President and above), women now account for 17 % of the cohort, up from 12 % in 2022. This upward trend is attributed to the company’s dedicated SheShines initiative, which focuses on wellness, health, mental‑well‑being and career development for women employees.

Initiatives and Employee Benefits

The SheShines programme delivers expert‑led sessions on personal and professional themes, structured dialogue opportunities, creative and therapeutic activities, and programmes centred on women’s health and growth. Complementary people‑and‑culture initiatives include:

  • 182 days of fully paid maternity leave, paid adoption leave and structured reintegration support for returning mothers.
  • A strict POSH (Prevention of Sexual Harassment) policy, confidential grievance mechanisms and safe‑cab facilities for employees travelling late, under a zero‑tolerance approach to disrespect and misconduct.
  • Platforms such as “Aap Ki Awaaz”, CEO town‑hall meetings and regular leadership communication to promote openness and active listening.
  • Engagement programmes like Swasthum and SPARKLE that foster connection and well‑being.
  • Career‑development, mentoring and recognition programmes that enable employees to build capabilities and pursue growth.
