Prem AI, a Swiss startup that enables companies to run artificial‑intelligence models on private infrastructure, announced a $100 million Series A financing round that values the company at a minimum of $500 million. The company said the round is expected to close in the third quarter of 2026.

Investors

The Series A round is backed by a group of high‑profile investors, including Jim Breyer of Breyer Capital, venture‑capital firm Index Ventures, David Maisel – founder of Marvel Studios, and Fan Zhang, co‑founder of Sequoia Capital China. The company did not disclose any additional participants in the round.

Prior Funding History

Prem AI previously raised a $14 million seed round in 2024 and subsequently completed a $6.1 million bridge round that placed the company’s valuation at $200 million.

Business Focus and Clients

The startup provides infrastructure that allows enterprises to operate AI models on their own private systems, a capability that is increasingly sought by organisations handling sensitive data. Its client base includes hedge funds and law firms.
