Event Details

Premier Energies Limited inaugurated its new 5.6 GW solar module manufacturing facility at Seetharampur in Rangareddy, Telangana on July 09, 2026. The inauguration was performed by Shri A. Revanth Reddy, Hon'ble Chief Minister of Telangana, in the presence of Shri Mallu Bhatti Vikramarka, Hon'ble Deputy Chief Minister and Finance Minister, and Shri Duddilla Sridhar Babu, Hon'ble Minister for Information Technology, Electronics and Communications, Industries and Commerce, and Legislative Affairs, Government of Telangana.

Manufacturing Capacity Update

With the commissioning of the new plant, Premier Energies' total module manufacturing capacity has reached 11.1 GW. The new facility houses advanced G12R TOPCon module manufacturing lines and represents India's first Zero Bus Bar manufacturing unit. The facility features AGV-enabled material movement and AI-powered quality inspection systems. The automated production lines are capable of manufacturing one solar module every four seconds.

Additional Project Groundbreaking

The company simultaneously performed a groundbreaking ceremony for two additional facilities:

  • 6 GWh Battery Energy Storage System (BESS) facility
  • 18,000 metric tonnes per annum aluminium frames facility

Campus Specifications

The Seetharampur manufacturing campus spans 75 acres and represents the newest addition to the Premier Energies manufacturing business.

Strategic Impact and Job Creation

Once fully operational, the Seetharampur facility is expected to create 3,000+ jobs. The projects are designed to strengthen the company's supply chain and contribute to India's goal of building a self-reliant clean-energy ecosystem.
