Prime Group announced a planned investment of roughly Rs 1,500 crore in the real‑estate sector of Bihar, to be deployed over the next four quarters. The capital will fund a development pipeline of about 5 million square feet, encompassing both residential and mixed‑use projects throughout the state. The group highlighted its zero‑debt balance sheet, which it says provides the financial flexibility needed to scale the pipeline. Strategic investors from the Middle East, together with overseas architects and specialist consultants, have been onboarded for the upcoming developments, with further details of these tie‑ups to be disclosed in due course. Prime Group’s broader development ecosystem already spans markets such as Mumbai, Bengaluru, Kolkata and Ranchi, and the Bihar investment represents the first major phase of its expansion in the region. "Bihar is entering an important phase of real estate growth, and we see significant opportunity in the market. The Rs 1,500 crore investment marks the beginning of our expansion in the state," said the Chairman of Prime Group. The company will progressively announce new projects and partnership specifics as the quarter‑wise rollout proceeds.
