ProHance Launches AI Adoption Index
Bengaluru, India – On 29 October 2026, ProHance, an AI‑led Productivity Orchestration platform, announced the launch of its AI Adoption Index, a scorecard designed to give enterprises a single, evidence‑based view of AI usage across teams. The Index enables leaders to map AI deployment by placing each team on a maturity continuum from AI‑Aware to AI‑First, measure adoption gaps and the capacity freed for higher‑value work, and mitigate shadow AI by routing unapproved tools through a review workflow and maintaining a permanent audit trail.
The announcement references a 2026 industry study of data breaches that found incidents involving shadow AI—unauthorised AI tools, browser extensions and agents—accounted for 43 % of all breaches, up from 20 % in 2025. Among organisations reporting an AI‑related security incident, 92 % lacked adequate AI access controls.
CEO Ankur Dhingra stated that ProHance aims to solve the critical problem of assessing AI’s impact on the workforce by helping leaders understand how to reskill and reshape their workforce with AI, measuring the combined impact of AI and humans. He added that the Index shows who is using what, how deeply, at what cost, and where AI is running without approval, measured from the work itself, enabling decisive action.
The AI Adoption Index complements ProHance’s recent launch of an outcome measurement layer for Outsourcing Performance Management (OPM), which provides independent evidence of what outsourced and contingent teams deliver. Together, the two offerings focus on delivering visibility so AI‑ready organisations can improve outcomes from both people and AI.
ProHance reports that its platform is trusted by more than 450,000 users across 55+ countries and was named a Star Performer in the Everest Group People Analytics Platforms PEAK Matrix® 2026. For further information, visit www.prohance.ai or follow ProHance on LinkedIn.
