Propshell Wins Developer Award, Aims 10M Sqft
On 15 October 2026, at the ET Now.in Realty Conclave & Awards 2026 – South Edition held at the Taj Coromandel in Chennai, Propshell was honoured with the “Plotted Developer of the Year 2026” award. The award was presented by the Honourable Governor of Tamil Nadu, Shri Rajendra Vishwanath Arlekar, recognizing the company’s growth in the plotted‑real‑estate segment.
Founded in 2007 by Mr G. Jayaram, Propshell specialises in plotted developments and land‑ownership opportunities. To date the company has sold a cumulative 12 million square feet of land across more than 80 projects, serving over 10,000 customers. Its operational footprint spans the Tamil Nadu cities of Chennai, Trichy, Coimbatore and Kodaikanal, as well as an international presence in Dubai.
During the award ceremony Mr Jayaram highlighted the milestone, stating that the company’s vision since inception has been to create meaningful land‑ownership opportunities. He noted that having sold 12 million square feet so far, Propshell is now targeting an additional 10 million square feet of plotted land sales by 2029. The ambition is to expand the plotted‑development portfolio in its key markets, deliver responsible development, and contribute to the national “Housing for All” vision.
The 2029 sales target underscores Propshell’s intent to deepen its market presence, strengthen relationships with channel partners and landowners, and enable more families to own land and move toward building their dream homes.
