Overview

Provogue, one of India’s most recognised fashion brands, announced the launch of “OGs Ka Comeback”, a three‑film digital campaign that reunites the label with actor Fardeen Khan, the face of the brand during the early‑2000s. The campaign, released on Provogue’s YouTube channel, Instagram and other digital platforms, consists of three short films: the first shows a young team briefing Khan on Gen‑Z style preferences; the second has Khan reflecting on the historic partnership while looking ahead; the third is a playful, innuendo‑led teaser.

Strategic Expansion

The initiative coincides with Provogue’s strategic expansion into the travel and luggage category. The brand now offers trolley bags, backpacks and other travel essentials through major e‑commerce platforms—including Amazon, Flipkart and Myntra—as well as quick‑commerce services such as Blinkit and Zepto, and through its own direct‑to‑consumer website. Provogue was relaunched under new promoter ownership in 2025 and is pursuing a fashion‑first proposition within the travel segment.

Leadership Commentary

CEO Pravin Prabhakar stated that the next chapter must begin with Fardeen Khan, emphasizing that “for an entire generation, Fardeen and Provogue were inseparable” and that the brand’s vision is to become the most digitally native lifestyle brand in India. He highlighted an aggressive expansion across lifestyle categories, strengthening the travel and luggage presence while entering adjacent segments.

Actor’s Perspective

Fardeen Khan expressed enthusiasm about re‑uniting after nearly two decades, noting that the partnership is “not about recreating the past, but about taking everything we’ve learnt and beginning a new chapter together.” He described the collaboration as meaningful and indicative of personal growth.

Brand Positioning

“OGs Ka Comeback” bridges Provogue’s legacy with its future, aiming to reconnect with consumers who grew up with the brand while introducing it to a new, digitally savvy generation. The campaign underscores Provogue’s commitment to a digitally native business model and its ambition to lead in lifestyle categories beyond traditional apparel.
