Prior to his current role, he served as Executive Director (In charge) – International Trade at Hindustan Petroleum Corporation Limited (HPCL), where he managed crude procurement of approximately 700 kbd, product imports and exports, chartering/shipping arrangements, and oil price risk management. He managed one of India's largest corporate treasuries for over a decade and spearheaded HPCL's maiden USD bond issue. He has also served as a Director on the Board of HPCL Middle East FZCO, Dubai.
