Launch Announcement

Pudu Robotics, headquartered in Shenzhen, China, announced on 18 August 2026 the launch of the PUDU MP2000, an AI‑native pallet‑handling robot with a 2,000 kg payload capacity designed for autonomous floor‑to‑floor material transport in warehouses, logistics facilities and manufacturing environments.

Key Technical Features

  • The MP2000 combines multi‑sensor navigation, edge intelligence and AI‑native perception, allowing it to map the operating environment and set up autonomous navigation and workflow without extensive site modifications, reflectors or QR codes, enabling deployment within minutes.
  • It supports standard three‑runner pallets, perimeter‑base pallets and can adapt to customized, non‑standard load carriers; its perception system evaluates load size and shape in real time to determine clearance and navigate constrained spaces.
  • Fork‑in cycles can be completed in as little as 20 seconds, reducing pickup time and improving material flow.
  • 3D LiDAR, depth cameras and additional sensors provide 3D perception that detects low‑profile and overhead obstacles, distinguishes static from dynamic obstacles and reacts in real time.
  • Distributed intelligence allows each robot to make independent decisions while coordinating with other units at the fleet level; coordination continues offline, and the system integrates with peripheral equipment, offering operators task assignment and manual override capabilities.

Portfolio Expansion

The MP2000 extends Pudu’s industrial delivery portfolio beyond the flexible mobile delivery offered by its T Series AMRs (e.g., PUDU T300) into standardized pallet handling and heavier‑load transport, covering workflows at loading docks, warehouses, line‑side storage and production workshops. Together, the T Series and MP2000 provide end‑to‑end automation for industrial logistics.
