Puravankara Acquires 9.73‑acre Land Parcel in North Bengaluru
On 17 June 2026, Puravankara Limited (NSE: PURVA, BSE: 532891) announced the outright purchase of a 9.73‑acre land parcel located at Sanna Ammanikere in the north‑Bengaluru airport corridor. The parcel offers approximately 0.89 million sq ft of development potential and is projected to generate a gross development value (GDV) of about ₹800 crore. The site lies within the Devanahalli growth corridor with direct connectivity to Kempegowda International Airport and proximity to emerging employment hubs, supported by infrastructure projects such as the Airport Metro, Satellite Town Ring Road, Aerospace Park and the planned Airport City.
Ashish Puravankara, Managing Director of Puravankara Limited, stated that Bengaluru continues to be at the centre of India’s residential growth story, underpinned by a strong economic base, expanding infrastructure and sustained end‑user demand, and that the acquisition reflects the company’s conviction in the long‑term potential of North Bengaluru and its disciplined capital‑allocation approach. Mallanna Sasalu, CEO – South of Puravankara, added that the acquisition consolidates the developer’s presence in its largest market and will enable the creation of a well‑planned residential community that combines scale, connectivity, amenities and quality of living.
The acquisition aligns with Puravankara’s broader strategy of strengthening its footprint across high‑growth Bengaluru micro‑markets through a mix of outright purchases and capital‑efficient partnerships. Recent transactions include acquisitions and joint‑development agreements in Hennur Road, Mandur and Doddagubbi, further expanding the company’s development pipeline in the city.
