Announcement

Purple Pixie Healthcare, the parent company of Dr ToothLittle – India’s first exclusive paediatric oral healthcare clinic chain – announced that its network now comprises ten clinics across Bengaluru, Karnataka.

Expansion Plan

The firm targets a total of fifteen Dr ToothLittle clinics in Bengaluru by the fiscal year 2027‑28 and intends to subsequently expand into other key South Indian cities, building on the milestone of reaching ten centres.

Market Context

Industry estimates project the Indian paediatric oral care market to reach approximately US$1.71 billion by 2030, expanding at a compound annual growth rate of 8% between 2025 and 2030. Bengaluru‑specific clinical studies highlight a substantial disease burden: a survey of 1,500 preschool children (aged 8‑48 months) found dental caries in 27.5% of participants, while a separate study of 1,452 school‑age children (aged 12‑15 years) reported a 57.9% caries prevalence, with 19.4% experiencing untreated caries with clinical consequences.

Operational Highlights

Dr ToothLittle is supported by a team of 26 specialised paediatric dentists and child‑healthcare‑trained staff. The chain has achieved a 70% patient return rate, indicating strong trust and repeat engagement among families.

Leadership Quote

Founder, Managing Director, and CEO Dr. Premila Naidu stated that the ten‑clinic milestone validates the need for a specialised, child‑centric approach to oral healthcare in India, emphasizing the opportunity to build a larger ecosystem focused on prevention, early intervention, and positive oral‑health behaviours.
