Announcement

On September 9, 2026, PwC India issued a press release from Mumbai announcing a strategic alliance with Claroty, a cyber‑physical systems (CPS) protection company, to help organisations address evolving cybersecurity needs of connected environments, including operational technology (OT), industrial systems, healthcare and other critical infrastructure.

Purpose of the Alliance

The collaboration is designed to provide a more integrated approach to managing cyber risk across IT, OT and extended connected environments. By combining Claroty’s AI‑powered platform – which offers asset inventory, exposure management, network protection, secure access and threat detection – with PwC India’s deep expertise in cybersecurity, risk, business transformation and OT security, the alliance aims to enhance resilience, strengthen visibility across connected assets and enable organisations to respond to a rapidly evolving threat landscape.

Statements from Leadership

Sundareshwar Krishnamurthy, Partner and India Cyber Leader at PwC India, said that as organisations become more connected and digitised, trust, resilience and security are integral to business growth and transformation, and that the alliance will help build confidence across critical operations, supporting business continuity, customer trust and India’s competitiveness as a global manufacturing and digital hub.

John Ryan, Vice President of Worldwide Partner Ecosystem at Claroty, highlighted that the combination of Claroty’s AI‑powered platform and PwC India’s expertise offers a holistic approach to reduce risk and achieve operational resilience for CPS and OT environments.

Amanjit Makesh, Partner – OT Cybersecurity at PwC India, emphasized that clients seek partners who understand both industrial complexity and cyber risk urgency, and that the alliance provides advisory, execution and industry context alongside Claroty’s visibility and control for modern and legacy OT environments.

Eddie Stefanescu, General Manager of APJ at Claroty, warned that OT systems in India are increasingly attractive targets for attackers and that the partnership will deliver purpose‑built solutions for manufacturing, healthcare and commercial organisations that the general population relies on daily.
