PyNet Labs Free CCNA Training Initiative
In August 2026, PyNet Labs announced a free technology training programme that provides foundational networking education through a complimentary Cisco Certified Network Associate (CCNA) curriculum. The complete set of video lectures, structured modules and practical demonstrations has been uploaded to the company’s official YouTube channel (https://www.youtube.com/@PyNetLabs) to allow learners across India and beyond to study at their own pace without any tuition fee.
The launch is positioned as a contribution to Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s pledge, made from the Red Fort on India’s 80th Independence Day, to skill one crore (10 million) young Indians in artificial intelligence within the next year. While the focus of the pledge is AI, PyNet Labs argues that networking, cloud, cybersecurity and data‑centre expertise are essential foundations for AI‑driven services.
Deepanshu Budhija, Co‑Founder and CEO of PyNet Labs, stated that “the vision of a skilled India can become a reality when industry and education providers come together to create more accessible opportunities for young people.”
Industry data cited in the release indicate that AI‑related hiring in India’s IT sector rose 16 % year‑on‑year in June 2026, whereas overall IT recruitment fell 3 %, highlighting growing demand for specialised technology capabilities.
To date, PyNet Labs reports having trained more than 10,000 students, established partnerships with over 400 hiring organisations and facilitated more than 1,500 placements. Its training catalogue spans CCNA, CCNP, CCIE, network automation, cybersecurity, cloud and AI technologies.
Beyond the entry‑level CCNA programme, the company offers advanced modules on data‑centre technologies, including Cisco Nexus and Cisco Application Centric Infrastructure (ACI). These courses provide hands‑on lab access to Nexus switching platforms, ACI fabrics, external connectivity and infrastructure management, preparing participants for roles in network automation, data‑centre operations and related fields.
The initiative is intended to lower financial barriers, broaden the pool of technology‑ready talent and support India’s broader digital‑infrastructure ambitions.
