Acquisition Details
QMS Medical Allied Services Limited has signed a Memorandum of Understanding to acquire 100% equity shares of BeamOptics Scientific Private Limited, a Pune-headquartered deep-tech company. The acquisition is subject to mutual fulfilment of terms and conditions and post-NCLT approval of the composite scheme of arrangement with HCAH.
Strategic Restructuring
As part of its value creation strategy, QMS has undertaken several strategic initiatives:
- Demerger of services business into its wholly-owned subsidiary, Saarathi Healthcare
- Merger of Patient Services Program (PSP) portfolio with Health Care at Home (HCAH)
- The PSP portfolio will be merged under Saarathi, creating a dedicated services portfolio company which will also be listed
- The product business will continue to be operational under QMS Medical Allied Services
BeamOptics Scientific Profile
BeamOptics Scientific Private Limited is:
- ISO 13485/2016 certified
- IP-led deep-tech company founded in 2023 by Aashutosh Sharma and Ritesh Kothari
- Designs and manufactures in-vitro diagnostic (IVD) devices and analytical instruments
- Serves healthcare, dairy quality, food safety, and pharmaceutical screening markets
- Products combine optical sensing, spectroscopy, Computer Vision, Acoustic Sensing, Multispectral Imaging, and Artificial Intelligence

Additional Strategic Partnership
In August 2026, QMS signed an exclusive five-year agreement with German company HEINE Optotechnik as sole distributor in India for its wide range of primary diagnostic instruments.
