Quality Power Electrical Equipments Limited has formally commenced manufacturing operations at its new Global Coil Factory located at Kupwad MIDC, Sangli, Maharashtra, effective from 20 October 2026. The commencement coincided with the auspicious occasion of Vijayadashami (Dussehra).
The greenfield facility has been developed as a major manufacturing center specializing in high-voltage aircore dry-type reactors and specialized coil products. The facility's products cater to HVAC, HVDC, FACTS, renewable energy integration, and other critical power transmission applications.
The factory incorporates advanced coil winding infrastructure, dedicated high-voltage testing capabilities, and integrated conductor processing facilities. It includes specific manufacturing capabilities for specialized HVDC winding conductors. The investment is intended to strengthen manufacturing integration, improve production efficiency, and enhance the Group's ability to execute large and technically complex international projects.
This commencement marks a significant milestone in the Company's capacity expansion program and establishes the foundation for its next phase of growth in the global high-voltage equipment market. The facility will progressively ramp up production as additional manufacturing lines and associated infrastructure are commissioned, in line with the Company's planned expansion program.
This development represents a continuation of the Company's previously communicated capital expenditure and manufacturing capacity expansion initiatives. The disclosure is made pursuant to Regulation 30 of the SEBI (Listing Obligations and Disclosure Requirements) Regulations, 2015.
