Questex's International Hospitality Investment Forum (IHIF) Asia convened in Hong Kong, bringing together more than 470 delegates representing 38 countries. The gathering aimed to explore market trends, economic factors and investment opportunities within the hospitality sector.

  • Forty‑six percent of participants came from investor, capital and ownership‑related organisations, collectively managing roughly $450 billion in assets under management.

Programme and Speakers

The programme delivered thought‑leadership through panel discussions, fireside chats, presentations and networking sessions. 125 speakers from 21 countries shared insights on investment, ownership, development, operations and policy. A CEO panel featured leaders from Minor Hotels, Pan Pacific Hotels Group, Hyatt Hotels and Resorts and Seibu Prince Hotels Worldwide Inc.

Family Office Focus

A dedicated segment united 30+ family offices and family‑office‑owned property groups, highlighting the growing role of family capital in hospitality real‑estate assets.

New Thematic Tracks

  • BxR Asia – Brand × Residential examined the intersection of hospitality brands with residential real‑estate development.
  • Nippon Track focused on opportunities within Japan’s domestic hospitality market and the increasing participation of Japanese capital, attracting 160 attendees and 20 speakers over a four‑hour session.

Government and Tourism Participation

Public‑sector stakeholders reinforced the forum’s bridge‑building role, with representation from the Singapore Tourism Board, Hong Kong Tourism Board, Tourism Western Australia, Oman, Turismo de Portugal, Brunei Investment Agency, Marjan and UN Tourism, which provided a global perspective on tourism growth, capital flows and investment prospects.

Digital Extension and Future Event

IHIF Asia Digital made main‑stage sessions available for on‑demand viewing, extending the event’s reach to the broader hospitality investment community. The next edition, IHIF Asia 2027, is scheduled for 8‑10 September 2027 in Hong Kong.
