Rémy Cointreau appoints Monika Alcobev as exclusive India partner

On 10 August 2026, Rémy Cointreau announced that it has appointed Monika Alcobev Limited as its exclusive distribution and marketing partner for the entire Indian market. The agreement gives Monika Alcobev sole responsibility for retail and HORECA channels across the country and is presented as a “single‑window platform” intended to deliver scale, efficiency and market intelligence.

The partnership will cover Rémy Cointreau’s premium portfolio, including Rémy Martin, Louis XIII, The Botanist, Cointreau, St‑Rémy, Bruichladdich, Metaxa and Mount Gay. The transition is already underway and is expected to be completed across retail and HORECA over the coming months.

Monika Alcobev Limited, founded in 2015 by Bhimji Nanji Patel and led by Managing Director Kunal Patel, is described as India’s leading importer and distributor of premium alcohol brands with a portfolio of more than 100 labels. In July 2025 the company completed a ₹165.63 crore SME IPO on the Bombay Stock Exchange, underscoring its growth trajectory. The firm operates in major cities such as Delhi, Haryana, Jaipur, Mumbai, Goa and Bangalore, among others.
