A “Meritorious Student Felicitation Ceremony” is scheduled for May 26, 2026 at the Sharda Auditorium of Rabindranath Tagore University, Bhopal, organized jointly by the university and MediaToday.
More than 500 meritorious students from various schools in Bhopal, who have excelled in Classes 10, 11 and 12, will be honoured with certificates of honour and mementos.
The event will also recognise teachers who have made outstanding contributions to education.
Distinguished guests include Sanjay Kumar Mishra, IAS, Additional Secretary, Ayush MP Government; Simala Prasad, IPS, IG PHQ Bhopal; Dr. Naveen Anand Joshi, Sr. Editor and President, Madhya Pradesh Press Club; Ajay Pratap Singh, Executive Editor, Business Ascent and Media Today.
University officials present will be Pro‑Chancellor Dr. Aditi Chaturvedi Vats, Vice‑Chancellor Dr. Ravi Prakash Dubey, and Registrar Dr. Sangeeta Johri, along with other eminent personalities from education and various fields.
Dr. Aditi Chaturvedi Vats emphasized that honouring meritorious students strengthens societal respect for education and talent, noting that young talent is the nation’s future.
Dr. Ravi Prakash Dubey highlighted that education extends beyond good marks to developing leadership, innovation, and social responsibility, urging continuous learning.
Dr. Sangeeta Johri stated that the ceremony will boost confidence and motivation for both students and teachers, describing it as a positive initiative.
The programme will feature motivational sessions on education, career guidance, personality development, and will share information on career opportunities and future prospects.
