Rajiv Agarwal Honoured with Uttar Pradesh Ratan Award
On Wednesday, 16 September 2026, Rajiv Agarwal, the leading figure of Pooja Detergent Group, was presented with the Uttar Pradesh Ratan Award during a ceremony held in Lucknow. The award was conferred in recognition of his long‑standing contributions to industry, social service, and public welfare.
The ceremony was attended by Hon’ble Shri Swatantra Dev Singh, Minister of Jal Shakti, Government of Uttar Pradesh, who served as the Chief Guest, and Hon’ble Shri Jaswant Singh Saini, Minister of State for Parliamentary Affairs and Industrial Development, Government of Uttar Pradesh. Shri Anoop Gangwar, the event organiser, along with several other distinguished guests and dignitaries, were also present.
The Uttar Pradesh Ratan honour acknowledges Agarwal’s efforts over the years, which include providing free meals to people in need and promoting environmental conservation through rainwater harvesting initiatives. Earlier recognitions include the Rajiv Gandhi Samman in Delhi (2011) and the Mahatma Gandhi International Samman in Bangkok (2017).

The brand is owned by Sauss Home Products Private Limited and has been serving Indian households since 1976.
