Launch Overview
The House of Rare, through its premium footwear label Rare’Z, introduced the DUST sneaker on 8 October 2026, priced at ₹7,499. The product is sold nationwide in physical stores, on the company website and mobile app.
Product Details
DUST draws on archival detailing dating back to 2014, the year The House of Rare was founded, and incorporates three distinct leather finishes—cracked, milled and smooth—within a single silhouette. A Japanese‑print lining adds an interior accent, while the outsole bears a 2014 reference and a Rare’Z medal as a signature element. The line is offered in two silhouettes—a contrast‑toe leather sneaker and a retro‑racer style—and comes in six colourways: Dark Navy, Black, Dusky Purple, Green, Sky Blue and White. Size availability spans India/UK sizes 6 to 11 (EU 40‑45).
Collaboration
The launch marks Rare’Z’s first collaboration with a sportsperson, featuring Indian mountaineer Arjun Vajpai, the youngest climber of Mount Everest and Mount Lhotse, a Guinness World Record holder and the first Indian to summit eight 8,000‑metre peaks, author of On Top of the World.
Founder Commentary
Founder and Creative Director Manish Poddar explained that DUST is intended to capture the character that develops when a sneaker is lived‑in, merging sport heritage with contemporary design for everyday wear.
