Background
India faces a significant iron‑deficiency challenge, with NFHS‑5 reporting that 57 % of women aged 15‑49 are anaemic, leading to fatigue, weakness and reduced daily energy.
Product Overview
Rasayanam has introduced a new supplement called True Form Iron, formulated around chelated ferrous bisglycinate. Each tablet delivers 29 mg of elemental iron, which equals 100 % of the recommended daily allowance. The chelated form is presented as offering more efficient absorption and better digestive tolerance compared with many conventional iron salts.
Complementary Nutrients and Botanicals
The tablet also contains Vitamin C to enhance iron uptake, and Vitamins B6, B9 and B12 to support normal red blood cell formation and overall blood health. In addition, traditional botanical extracts Musta and Sunthi are included to promote smoother digestion and mitigate common iron‑supplement side effects such as constipation and gastrointestinal discomfort.
Founder Commentary
"An iron supplement is only useful when people can take it consistently," said Ayush Aggarwal, Founder of Rasayanam. "We wanted to look beyond simply adding iron to a tablet and build a formulation that considers absorption, nutritional support and digestive comfort together. That is why we chose chelated ferrous bisglycinate and combined it with supportive vitamins and Musta and Sunthi."
Quality Assurance and Transparency
Rasayanam emphasizes that the product undergoes third‑party laboratory testing for quality, purity and safety. The company follows a transparency‑first philosophy, avoiding unnecessary additives and clearly disclosing all excipients so consumers can make informed choices.
