Rassense Reaches 5,000 Employees, Targets INR 600 Cr Revenue

Rassense Pvt Ltd., the largest Indian‑owned contract food services (CFS) company, announced that it has crossed the 5,000‑employee threshold, becoming the first Indian CFS firm to achieve this scale. The company currently serves more than 350,000 meals each day across educational institutions, corporate campuses, healthcare facilities and industrial locations, with its operational footprint extending from Jammu & Kashmir to Tamil Nadu and from Maharashtra to Odisha and Assam.

The latest expansion includes the commissioning of food‑service operations at three premier academic institutions – the Indian Institute of Management Jammu, Indian Institute of Management Bangalore and the Indian Institute of Technology Guwahati – thereby adding presence in the North, South and North‑East regions. Executive Board Member and Chief Business Officer Swarna Padmini Rajamani highlighted that the milestone reflects the trust built with clients, the strength of its people and its ability to execute large‑scale projects quickly.

Rassense also disclosed that it is on track to exceed INR 600 crore in revenue, driven by its technology‑led capabilities in food production, waste reduction and supply‑chain management. The company reiterated its intent to continue expanding through marquee partnerships while focusing on operational excellence and high‑quality dining experiences at scale.
