The RBI released the cut‑off results for three government securities auctions conducted on 11 September 2026. For the 6.20 % Government Security maturing in 2029, the notified amount was ₹11,000 crore, but only ₹4,505.529 crore was accepted at a cut‑off price of 99.46, implying a yield of 6.4031 %. No primary dealers were required to devolve any portion of the issue.
For the 6.57 % Government Security maturing in 2033, the full notified amount of ₹11,000 crore was accepted at a cut‑off price of 98.36, corresponding to an implicit yield of 6.8703 %. Again, there was no devolvement on primary dealers.
The new Government Security maturing in 2056 attracted the entire notified amount of ₹10,000 crore. The cut‑off yield was 7.63 %; the price was not disclosed. No primary dealer devolvement was recorded.
In summary, the RBI’s auction saw complete subscription for the 2033 and 2056 series, while the 2029 series was partially filled, leaving a residual amount of approximately ₹6,494.471 crore unallocated.
