Regulatory and Policy Measures

The RBI, through this circular, established the cut‑off rates for underwriting commissions payable to primary dealers, thereby providing the pricing framework for the ACU mechanism. The announcement was issued by Deputy General Manager Ajit Prasad (Communications). The auction for the sale of the securities is scheduled to be held on the same day, 11 September 2026.

The release underscores the RBI’s role in managing government debt issuance and ensuring transparent pricing for primary dealers.
