Vikramshila Power Transmission Limited

- Paid-up Capital: ₹5,00,000
- Business Purpose: Evacuation of Power from 3x800 MW STPP Pirpainti
- Government Allocation: Gazette Notification dated May 7, 2026 by Government of Bihar
- Status: Newly incorporated, yet to commence business
- Ownership: 100% subscription to equity share capital in cash at face value
- Future Plan: Company will be transferred to successful bidder along with all assets & liabilities after Tariff Based Competitive Bidding (TBCB) process
Alkud II Power Transmission Limited
- Incorporation Date: August 25, 2026
- Authorized Capital: ₹5,00,000
- Paid-up Capital: ₹5,00,000
- Business Purpose: Establishment of 765/400/220 kV AIS Alkud-II/Jath (Dist. Sangli)
- Government Allocation: Gazette Notification dated July 10, 2026 by Government of Maharashtra
- Status: Newly incorporated, yet to commence business
- Ownership: 100% subscription to equity share capital in cash at face value
- Future Plan: Company will be transferred to successful bidder along with all assets & liabilities after Tariff Based Competitive Bidding (TBCB) process
Related Party Transaction Status
Both subsidiary companies are considered related parties of REC Limited since they are wholly owned subsidiaries of RECPDCL, which is itself a wholly owned subsidiary of REC Limited. The promoter, promoter group, and group companies have no interest in these entities beyond the shareholding.
RECPDCL Role
RECPDCL acts as the Bid Process Coordinator (BPC) for selection of Transmission Service Provider through TBCB process for independent inter-state and intra-state transmission projects assigned by the Ministry of Power and State Governments.
