Overview
Reckitt issued a press release from New Delhi on 31 July 2026, announcing historic Letters of Intent (LOIs) with seven strategic partners to reach 100 million beneficiaries, representing a 3.5‑times year‑on‑year increase in direct community engagement. The three‑year collaborations will run from 2026 to 2029 and span health, hygiene, sanitation, adolescent wellbeing, climate resilience and community engagement.
Flagship Programs
The alliance will scale Reckitt’s core social initiatives, including Dettol Banega Swasth India, Dettol School Hygiene Education Programme, Durex The Birds and Bees Talk (TBBT), Harpic World Toilet College and the Harpic Safe Sanitation Programme.
Partner Roles
- UNEP India and Sesame Workshop India will introduce early‑childhood learning tools, STEM‑based resilience programmes and a three‑tier plastic curriculum aimed at over 30 million children to embed climate literacy.
- Jagran Pehel will deploy digital innovation, gamification, the H‑BaLA platform and AI‑enabled Hygiene Co‑pilots to reduce teacher dependency and modernise health‑sanitation education across key states.
- ADRA India and Amar Jyoti Foundation will expand life‑skills and adolescent wellbeing education, targeting 80 % of schools in Delhi, Odisha and six North‑Eastern states with the TBBT curriculum.
- MASH Project Foundation and Forbes India (Network18) will elevate these efforts into a macro‑level cultural movement through initiatives such as The Parity Project, the Consent Culture Survey, and high‑impact media editions, providing Gen Z with a progressive vocabulary on equity, inclusion and protection and showcasing India’s youth‑led health narrative on global platforms like Oxford and Davos.
