Reliance Industries Limited (RIL) announced a partnership with Meta Platforms, Inc. (Meta) for the development of an AI-enabled data centre in Jamnagar, Gujarat. The disclosure was made via a media release submitted to BSE Limited and National Stock Exchange of India Limited under trading symbol RELIANCE.

Project Details

The partnership involves development of a data centre with 168 MW capacity to be delivered within two years, with an option to scale. This represents Meta's first built-to-suit data centre capacity in India. Meta will lease capacity from the facility to support its global infrastructure, core business, and AI compute needs.

RIL's Role and Services

RIL will provide comprehensive end-to-end services spanning the entire lifecycle of the data centre, including:

  • Design and construction
  • Management of utilities
  • Renewable power supply
  • Network connectivity
  • Fully managed operational services

This positions RIL as a single-window solutions provider for hyperscale AI infrastructure in India.
