Business & Financial Performance

Reliance Industries Limited reported record financial performance for FY26 despite global challenges. Consolidated revenues stood at ₹11,75,919 crore ($124.0 billion), up 9.8% year-on-year. EBITDA reached ₹2,07,911 crore ($21.9 billion). Net profit stood at ₹95,754 crore ($10.1 billion), up 17.8% over last year. Retail and Digital businesses contributed nearly half of the FY26 EBITDA.

The company's capital expenditure stood at ₹1,44,271 crore ($15.2 billion) for FY26. Over the last five years, Reliance's capex stood at ₹6,48,428 crore ($68.4 billion) - more than any company in India, representing almost one-third of the total capital invested by India's Top-50 corporates.

Reliance's exports were ₹2,78,808 crore ($29.4 billion), representing 6.7% of India's total merchandise exports. The company remained the largest contributor to the national exchequer, contributing ₹2,16,472 crore ($22.8 billion), with cumulative contribution over the last five years crossing ₹9.78 lakh crore ($100 billion+). CSR expenditure in FY26 stood at ₹2,248 crore ($237 million).

The company's global credit rating improved to A- by S&P and Baa1 by Moody's - both two notches above India's sovereign credit rating.

Digital Services (Jio Platforms)

The Board of Jio Platforms approved the Draft Red Herring Prospectus earlier today, and it will be filed with SEBI today. Isha, Akash, and Anant Ambani are heading the Jio IPO process.

Jio user base crossed 524 million, cementing No. 1 position. 5G subscriber base crossed 268 million, with 77 million net additions during the year. JioAirFiber has 13 million connected homes. Total data traffic on Jio's network in FY26 stood at 241 exabytes, growing 30.8% year-on-year.

Jio Platforms delivered revenue of ₹1,46,885 crore ($15.5 billion), growing 14.6% year-on-year. EBITDA reached ₹76,255 crore ($8.0 billion), an 18.8% growth with EBITDA margin improving by 190 basis points to 51.9%. Profit After Tax crossed ₹30,000 crore ($3.2 billion) for the first time, growing 15.1% year-on-year.

Jio announced Five Commitments: making JioTrue5G the foundation of India's digital leap; taking high-speed home broadband nationwide; digitizing Indian enterprises; ensuring AI for everyone; and taking India's technology to the world.

The company is evaluating development of a sovereign Low Earth Orbit satellite constellation for India and building its own ground station infrastructure.

Reliance Intelligence

Reliance Intelligence is building India's sovereign AI backbone in Jamnagar powered by clean energy. The first 120 megawatts will be commissioned by end of 2026. The company is operationalizing an initial fleet of advanced NVIDIA GB300 GPUs equivalent to more than 75,000 H100 GPUs on an AI-inference basis.

Partnerships include Google AI Pro powered by Gemini (free for Jio users) and joint venture with Meta operationalizing LLaMA open-source AI for Indian enterprises. The platform will deliver services in 22 Indian languages including JioBharatIQ, AI Vyapar, JioHealthIQ, JioLearnIQ, and JioKrishiIQ.

Media & Entertainment

JioStar, Jio Studios, and Network18 together posted full-year revenue of ₹34,917 crore ($3.7 billion), with EBITDA of ₹5,842 crore ($616 million), and net profit of ₹3,434 crore ($362 million). JioStar remains India's leading television entertainment network with 34.7% viewership share and 389 million daily viewers.

JioHotstar averaged 451 million Monthly Active Users during the year and recorded world-record 72.5 million concurrent viewers during T20 World Cup. IPL 2026 reached over 700 million viewers. JioHotstar became first Indian paid OTT platform to cross one billion downloads.

Jio Studios' Dhurandhar franchise crossed ₹3,000 crore ($318 million) in worldwide box-office gross. Network18 reached 250 million people monthly through television and has over 450 million subscribers and followers across digital platforms.

Retail Business

Reliance Retail gross revenue reached ₹3,70,026 crore ($39.0 billion), growing 11.8% year-on-year. EBITDA grew 7.9% to ₹27,033 crore ($2.9 billion). Profit after tax rose 12% to ₹13,838 crore ($1.5 billion). Registered customer base reached 387 million, up 11% year-on-year. The company processed 1.93 billion transactions, up 39% year-on-year.

The company now operates 20,160 stores across 78 million square feet. In Grocery, Smart Bazaar network crossed 1,000 stores. The company procured approximately 5.7 lakh metric tonnes of fresh fruits and vegetables, partnering with over 40,000 farmers. Sold 12 lakh metric tonnes of staples.

JioMart has become one of India's largest quick commerce networks with 3,100+ stores, serving 1,200+ cities across 5,100+ PIN codes. Average daily orders grew 3.6 times year-on-year.

In Fashion and Lifestyle, the company sold over 8 lakh garments every day. AJIO's average bill value rose 23%, average selling price grew 17%, and option count expanded to three million. AJIO Rush (four-hour delivery) covers 600+ towns. Shein crossed 11 million app installs.

Consumer Products Business (RCPL)

Reliance Consumer Products Limited achieved gross revenue of ₹22,000 crore ($2.3 billion), growing 2x year-on-year. Products are present in more than 40 countries through exports and franchise sales.

Campa achieved ₹4,700+ crore ($496 million) in gross sales, now India's fourth-largest carbonated soft-drinks brand. Independence delivered ₹2,600 crore ($274 million) in revenue. RCPL is now India's third-largest branded water player.

Acquisitions included majority stakes in Udhaiyam Agro Foods and Southern Health Foods (Manna brand); Goodness Group Global (Australian beverages); and global rights to heritage brands Brylcreem, Toni & Guy, Badedas, and Matey.

The company has invested ₹10,000 crore ($1.1 billion) to date in manufacturing, with plans for ₹30,000 crore ($3.2 billion) more investments to build integrated food parks. Distribution reaches 3 million+ outlets through 5,000+ distributors.

Near-term ambition is to reach ₹1 lakh crore ($10.5 billion) in revenue by FY30.

Exploration & Production (E&P)

E&P business reported revenue of ₹23,861 crore ($2.5 billion) and EBITDA of ₹19,050 crore ($2.0 billion) for FY26. KG basin gas production was nearly 26 MMSCMD (about 30% of India's natural gas production). Oil production was about 18,000 barrels per day.

Oil-to-Chemicals (O2C)

O2C business revenue grew 5.7% to ₹6,62,401 crore ($69.8 billion). EBITDA grew 10.1% to ₹60,546 crore ($6.4 billion).

Major investments progressing: 3 million tonne PTA facility at Dahej; Carbon Fibre facility at Hazira; 1.2 million-tonne PVC plant at Nagothane.

Jio-bp petrol and diesel volumes grew 29% year-on-year. Retail network grew to nearly 2,200 outlets, with 400 under construction. EV charging expanded to 80 cities and 45 highways. CBG and CNG network covers 177 sites, with volumes growing 68% year-on-year.

New Energy

Solar PV cell and module manufacturing lines commissioned and operational. Nearly 1 GW of Heterojunction Technology (HJT) modules produced. Building towards 20GW per annum of fully integrated capacity.

First phase of 40 GWh annual BESS and Cell Giga Factory on track to be commissioned this year, with commitment to scale up to 120 GWh of annual capacity.

Developing renewable energy hub across 5,50,000 acres in Kutch region targeting 55 MWp of solar installations per day and 150 MWh of storage per day. Once fully operational, will generate over 40 billion units of green electricity annually (approximately 3% of India's requirement).

Signed landmark USD 3 billion long-term supply agreement with Samsung C&T for green ammonia. Target of 3 million metric tonnes of green hydrogen equivalent green chemicals capacity in next 10 years.

Reliance contributes over 40% of India's entire compressed biogas (CBG) production. On track for 55 plants producing approximately 1,100 tonnes per day by end of FY27. Target to achieve 1 million tonnes of annual CBG capacity over next five years.

Advancing work in Underground Coal Gasification (UCG). Expect to create 200,000 green jobs through Giga Complex and Kutch Solar Farm.

Reliance Foundation

Reliance Foundation has touched lives of over 97 million Indians across every state, working in nearly hundred thousand villages. Received approval from Government of Maharashtra to establish State Private University with permanent campus at Dronagiri spread across 410 acres with seven world-class schools.

Education and Sports for All programme reached more than 29 million young children and youth. Reliance Foundation athletes won 386 national and international medals.

Plan to modernize Seven Hills Hospital with planned capacity of 1,500 beds, with more than 450 beds dedicated to economically weaker sections.

Coastal Road Gardens project spanning 130 acres with more than 60,000 trees.
