Care Health Insurance Ltd (CHIL), a Religare material subsidiary, appointed Ajay Kumar Shah as MD & CEO effective April 26, 2026 for a five-year term.
The appointment, approved by CHIL's Board and IRDAI, is part of CHIL's internal succession plan and is subject to Religare shareholder approval.
Ajay Shah, a Chartered Accountant with 30 years' experience, has been CHIL's Chief Business Officer and instrumental in its thirtyfold GWP growth over a decade.
