Cardano Hard Fork Activation
Cardano activated the Van Rossem hard fork on 18 July 2026, upgrading the network to Protocol Version 11 through a fully on‑chain governance process. The upgrade was executed without any reported downtime and introduced technical improvements such as faster digital‑signature verification and enhanced stake‑pool security, marking the first hard fork approved entirely on‑chain under Cardano’s Voltaire decentralisation model.
Remittix Product Suite Development
Remittix announced that its core crypto‑to‑fiat PayFi platform is now fully developed and has been tested by community members. PayFi enables users to send cryptocurrency while recipients receive the equivalent fiat amount directly into their bank accounts, providing a tangible payments use‑case. In addition, Remittix unveiled two forthcoming products: Remittix Markets, a perpetual futures (perps) trading platform, and Remittix Earn, a yield‑style product that will allow users to earn returns within the RTX ecosystem. Together, these three pillars—payments, trading, and earning—form the roadmap for the RTX ecosystem.
