RattanIndia Enterprises Limited announced that its wholly owned subsidiary Revolt Motors has secured an order to supply 1,100 BlazeX electric bikes to Bihar Police for patrolling operations. The order represents a significant expansion of the company's institutional business beyond individual riders to public sector mobility and law enforcement requirements.
The BlazeX electric motorcycle offers a range of up to 150 km and can be charged using a standard 10A power socket, providing charging flexibility without dependence on dedicated charging infrastructure. The model features a removable battery and under-seat storage for carrying the charger. It includes inbuilt GPS for vehicle tracking functionality. The electric bikes provide significant savings in running and maintenance costs compared to petrol equivalents, particularly across a fleet of this size.
The order is scheduled for delivery in Patna, with Revolt Motors working towards completing deliveries by November 2026. The contractual completion timeline is January 2027.
According to Mrs. Anjali Rattan, Chairperson of RattanIndia Enterprises Limited, this order represents a significant step for Revolt and provides an opportunity to test products in real-world operating environments with different requirements from individual ownership.
The announcement notes that Revolt Motors is India's No.1 electric bike brand with a community of more than 60,000 riders and a network of over 182 dealerships across the country.
