Scholarship Announcement
Ramaiah Institute of Science and Management (RISM) announced on Monday, 13 July 2026 that it will provide an 80% tuition‑fee scholarship to the top 20% of students in each of its five undergraduate programmes. The programmes are B.Tech in Computer Science & Artificial Intelligence, B.Tech in Electronics Engineering (VLSI Design and Technologies), B.Tech in Electronics & Computer Engineering, B.Tech in Aerospace Engineering, and Bachelor of Business Administration, with each programme allocating 60 seats, resulting in a total of 300 scholarship‑eligible seats.
Academic Partnerships and Curriculum
The institute operates under a knowledge partnership with the University at Albany, State University of New York, which involves joint design and joint delivery of the curricula. The courses are structured to deliver interdisciplinary education in STEM and management, combining academic rigour with experiential learning, industry‑sponsored Centres of Excellence, internships, research projects, entrepreneurship support, and global learning opportunities.
Campus Development Timeline
RISM will commence academic operations from a transit campus located in Yelahanka in August 2026. The main residential campus is being constructed in Bengaluru’s Information Technology Investment Region (ITIR) near Devanahalli and is expected to be fully operational by September 2027. All programmes follow a fully residential model that integrates sports, cultural activities, wellness initiatives, and life‑skills development alongside academic instruction.
