RMC Switchgears Limited has received new orders aggregating ₹344.10 crore, significantly boosting its order book.

Major Contract - PGVCL Underground Cabling

The largest component is a set of 12 Letters of Acceptance from Paschim Gujarat Vij Company Limited (PGVCL) worth ₹333.80 crore. This is a turnkey contract covering:

  • Site survey, designing, and engineering
  • Procurement, supply, loading, transportation, unloading, and insurance
  • Delivery at site, handling, and storage
  • Installation, testing, and commissioning
  • Documentation of all items and material

The scope involves conversion of existing 11 kV HT line and LT line network, including consumer service lines, into an underground cable network with a Ring Main System, together with GIS Mapping / Geo Urja Mapping (developed by GUVNL) and asset tagging under the SI Scheme.

The 12 packages are distributed across four circles:

  • Bhavnagar Circle: 9 packages worth ₹251.21 crore
  • Jamnagar Circle: 1 package worth ₹35.98 crore
  • Anjar Circle: 1 package worth ₹28.26 crore
  • Junagadh Circle: 1 package worth ₹18.36 crore
  • Total: 12 packages worth ₹333.80 crore

Execution Timeline for PGVCL Contract

The PGVCL packages are to be executed over periods of 12 to 18 months, following a commencement period of 45 days for all contractual purposes.

Additional Orders Received

The Company has also received:

  • Order from Genus Power Infrastructures Limited: ₹5.02 crore for UND S_Panel mounting structure 1.1 KW (6-month execution period)
  • Order from Jaipur Vidyut Vitran Nigam Limited: ₹2.84 crore for 100 Amp. L.T. Distribution Kiosks suitable for underground cabling (6-month execution period)
  • Letter of Intent from Southern Power Distribution Company of Telangana Limited: ₹2.44 crore for supply of LT Distribution Boxes (12-month execution period)
