Rockwell Automation, Inc. (NYSE: ROK) announced that its India‑based Gurukul leadership development program received eight awards at the 2026 Brandon Hall Group HCM Excellence Awards, comprising four Gold and four Silver honors.
Program Details
The Gurukul program, designed to prepare high‑potential team leads for broader enterprise roles as Rockwell Automation India transitions into a strategic Global Capability Center, was developed in partnership with Chrysalis HRD Pvt Ltd. It spans nine months and combines leadership assessments, experiential workshops, simulations, action‑learning projects, global mentoring and coaching. A total of 15 participants completed the program.
Awards Received
Across four disciplines, the program secured the following recognitions:
- Learning & Development: Gold for Best Competencies & Skill Development, Gold for Best Use of a Blended Learning Program, and Gold for Best Learning Team.
- Talent Management: Silver for Best High Potential Development and Silver for Best Succession & Career Management.
- Leadership Development: Gold for Best Unique or Innovative Leadership Development Program and Silver for Best Leadership Development Program.
- Future of Work: Silver for Best Program for Upskilling Employees in the Future of Work.
All eight submissions entered across the four disciplines were awarded.
Outcomes and Impact
Participant satisfaction was recorded at 4.9 out of 5. Following program completion, eight participants received promotions while three transitioned into expanded or different roles. Manager feedback highlighted improvements in enterprise perspective, collaboration, and leadership ownership.
